Women’s Ministry
The Women’s Ministry of Rocky Point offers bible study, mentoring, events, retreats, etc. throughout the year to equip, inspire, grow, disciple and encourage all women of all ages! Our desire is to provide a warm, welcoming environment of trust to build relationships and draw nearer to God through His Word.
Bible Study: Through bible study, women are lead through the truth of scripture where we grow in our relationship with the Lord and learn how to apply the Truth to our daily lives. We offer inductive bible study, book studies, topical studies, need-driven support studies, and video driven studies. Bible Study is offered Nov – May on Sunday evenings and Tuesday mornings. Childcare is provided for both meetings.

Mentoring: Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the Word of God (Titus 2:3-5). Throughout the church, there are women called by God to mentor one on one. We also offer Apples of Gold seasonly as a group mentoring program.
Special Events: The Women’s Ministry at Rocky Point offers special events throughout the year to build relationships and just plain have fun! We provide fellowship events with food, fun, and a message during the summer months. We offer a retreat each year for the women to take time out to be refreshed and rejunvinated in their relationship with the Lord. Other special events such as ladies dinners and conferences are also provided throughout the year.
Prayer Ministry: The Women’s Ministry Prayer team consists of women dedicated and committed to praying over and for the women’s ministry, our church, and specific needs or concerns.
Outreach Ministry: MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) exists to meet the needs of every mom of different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be!
Stephenville MOPS provides a fun and caring environment to build relationships and come together to learn how to be the best moms possible for our families and ourselves. Each month, you will hear great speakers on topics that are relevant to you! Free childcare is provided at the meeting location by a team of nurturing caregivers. MOPS meets Sept thru May.
